My goodness how I hate antis. The funny thing about all of this, this HUNT as I will call it, is that it didn't accomplish it's goal. Not at all. I think LJ had the intent on stopping 'bad people'..all they did was get a whole lot of good people good n' pissed. What do you think happens when you remove somebody's only avenue of support? of release? of love? They get pissed. They are more likely to do bad things. So, thank you LJ, you have successfully pissed of good people AND you've put a string of distrust/anger in us all. Thank you oh so much for reaffirming the fact that I can't trust antis, OR any outsiders for that matter. Not a month ago, I celebrated your position on freedom of speech, of expression..now...not so much. You are like the world, you claim free speech but snatch the soap box from the less popular side. But take my soap box and I'll find another. I have. So many others have. And I don't just mean here. I mean in the REAL WORLD. This small step you took has made a BIG impact in the CL community. Nothing motivates like rage, and you've just enraged countless CLer all over the globe. Thank you, for that. Thank you for opening doors. Thank you for the man I met a week ago, who saw a symbol on my hand, came to me, and said , "hey, sometimes the internet bites. Not as free as you think." From there, I learned who he was and what he supports. HE THINKS LIKE ME. HE LOVES LIKE ME ( well almost, slightly different aoa :) ) I encourage CLer to flaunt your passion; lawfully, of course. Be encouraged that the internet is not a safe place for us. They hunt us like dogs. SO..let's run in packs. Let's pick up some courage and find each other. Silently, delicately find each other. Lets have Alice Day everyday. I'm sick of racists, rapists, nazis, sexists, etc. having things their way. We are hunted, but they are free to speak. We are hated, but they have documentaries on the Discovery Channel. It boils my blood. So, I'm speaking. That's it. Just suggesting that you do the same. Suggesting that you carefully find others like you. Not for anything illegal, just for support. Just for a shoulder when that virtual one gets deleted right from under your hurting head. Don't fight yourself, you'll just slowly and painfully die. If we support ourselves, and other's like us, we will flourish.
The skin heads, they have a rowdy bunch. This bunch shaves their heads, tattoos their bodies, screams slurs on the streets. BUT the skin heads also have another bunch. Now this bunch goes to college, holds meetings with fellow followers, gets high-end jobs that provide influential positions. This bunch may be your neighbor, your colleague, your son's basketball coach. They blend in BUT they stand their ground; they support their fellow skin head, and they constantly find ways to incorporate their beliefs into American life/politics/policies. Now, any racist group is awful, but we can learn from them. Isn't it a shame that this hateful and sometimes violent group is more organized, prepared, and successful than we are? I think so.
